Still Life Film Photographer Lea Banchereau

Lea Banchereau is a French photographer based in the heart of New York City. With an eye for capturing the ethereal beauty of still life, Lea's work has been described as ‘visual poetry’ that evokes emotion and tells a compelling visual story. She has photographed for the likes of Klur, Maison D’etto, Baina, and other lifestyle brands with her unique minimalist aesthetic.

After following Lea’s work for a long time, we were thrilled to collaborate to create our latest brand photoshoot—a lifestyle collection filled with sun drenched imagery and intentional lifestyles depicting simplistic beauty in everyday objects and scenes. The collection features Lea's talent for finding beauty in subtle details and arrangements.

In conversation with Lea we delved into the captivating worlds she creates—from subtle arrangements to bold compositions, Lea's distinct artistic perspective gives a renewed appreciation for the beauty that can be found in the ordinary. We discussed everything from how she grounds her creative practice in mindfulness and intention to what an average day-to-day life is like in her light-filled New York City studio.
